Do I need building consent?
It depends on your site, foundation design and intended use. Note the 40ft is approximately 72m², which is over the 70m² threshold for the 2026 standalone-dwelling exemption, so a building consent is generally required — the Building Code applies and you’ll work with your council. We recommend checking with your local council, and we can modify the home to suit specific requirements.
What’s included in the base price?
Standard kitchen, bathroom, structural build, double-glazing and standard finishes. Delivery is quoted by your site location and access. See the upgrades table for extras.
How long does delivery take?
Typical lead time is 10–14 weeks after deposit and site prep. More remote or complex sites may require longer.
Can I customise the layout and finishes?
Yes — we work with you on the layout, materials and finishes. Changes after deposit may incur extra cost and time.
Can this home be set up for off-grid living?
Yes — select a solar and battery package at the time of quoting. Final system sizing depends on your appliances, daily usage, site conditions and backup requirements.
